  • Usage data: Pages viewed, time spent on site, feature usage, and error reports.
  • Messaging data: When you use our text messaging features, we automatically collect message delivery status, timestamps, carrier information, and message metadata.

4. Text Messaging and Twilio

Our Service uses Twilio and other third-party providers to enable text messaging features. When you use these features:

  • Data shared with Twilio: Phone numbers, message content, and delivery metadata are transmitted to and processed by Twilio to facilitate message delivery.
  • Twilio's Privacy Policy: Twilio processes this data in accordance with their privacy policy, available at https://www.twilio.com/legal/privacy.
  • Message retention: We retain text message content and metadata to provide the archiving and storage features of the Service. You may request deletion of your message data by contacting us.
  • Carrier data: Mobile carriers may collect and retain data about messages sent to or from your phone number in accordance with their own policies.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, and enforce agreements.

Text message content and metadata are retained for as long as your account is active to provide the archiving features of the Service, unless you request earlier deletion.

TextBoxed uses minimal cookies necessary for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

TextBoxed is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under this age. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us immediately.

Our servers and infrastructure are based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S.

Text message data processed through Twilio may be stored and processed in data centers located in various countries in accordance with Twilio's infrastructure and privacy practices.
